Bradders

braddersweb.jpg

Bradley or 'Bradders' our Sooty x Sooty bred buck was born mid 2008. He is a very handsome boy. He has a lovely horse shoe shape crown and ears when viewed from the front, a masive head, wide shoulders and cobby body. We have to watch his weight a bit as he is a big boned boy. He sometimes has patchy moults.

Bradders has 7CC's ,19 stars and 1 BoB.

Judge Mr E Hutchings: Really good colour and coat, very good head and ears, sits well on table, very fit.

Judge P. Crabb : Good type, nice coat and colour.

Harry is another sooty x sooty bred buck born on 29th May 2008. He has a dreamy coat, lovely colour and good crown and ears.
He is our main sooty stud buck and has thrown some beautiful babies including daughter Marigold.

Harry has 3CC  and 6 stars
with Barrow Bunnies.

Judge Mrs B Brake : Wins on coat and colour, nice exhibit.

Judge Mrs P Honour  Good coat and nice colour sooty, bold eye, good crown and ear.

Barrow Bunnies Camille

Geneotype aaBBCCDDee

camille1.jpg

Camille is a sooty fawn doe bred from Marigold (sooty fawn) and Bradders (sooty fawn). She has some of her fathers best qualities shoulders, chunkiness and nice width of head. She's beautifully coloured and is on the smaller side like her mum, this will be good for reducing size of bucks. I'd like to see a little more width of crown but otherwise shes a nice little doe.

Barrow Bunnies Preeti
Born at Barrow Bunnies

Geneotype aaBBCCDdee

preetidark.jpg

Preeti was born at Barrow Bunnies to Kat. It was evident from the start that she would be a beautiful girl, she never went through an ugly teenage stage and neither does her young.

She is a very good mother and always throws typey babies that we get quite excited about.

Preeti has a beautiful big head, with very good ear and crown placement. She has a darktail, belly and points but lacks a little top richness.

Preeti is also a blue carrier so one day in the future we may breed blue or beige from her.

Judge Mrs P. Honour : Nice all round young exhibit

Barrow Bunnies Marigold

Marigolds colouring is lovely, orangey golden on top and dark dark soot points, sides, belly and sides. Her ear and crown placement is superb. Her sire is Harry (above) and Dawn a sooty fawn.

Marigold is now proven and we are running on Camille her daughter. She is a wonderful mother.

Clover
Bred by Helen Chugg

clovercollage.jpg

This is Clover our chocolate tortoiseshell doe, bred from chocolate x sooty fawn and she is typey, typey, typey! To top it she's a fantastic little poser. She was still showable at seven months old; she had the tiniest dewlap and for type is mistaken for a buck! She has now been retired from showing so that she can enter our breeding programme. We anticipate she will breed us some knock out show bucks. Clover has the most fantastic colour, her top is a nice rich colour and deep chocolate everywhere else. Initially nick named 'The General', as she used to be a devil in her cage and an angel out of it. She's a good little girl at heart though and loves her cuddles bowing her head at the cage front for a rub and she especially likes broccoli.

Of the three shows Clover was entered in to she gained:
2 BoB's, 5 stars, a 2nd in the Lop Challenge Adult and a Certificate of Merit from the NMLRC.

Judge P Crabb : Good type, dense coat

Miss G Bailey : Very nice typed rabbit in coat

Judge Mrs H Elliott : Excels body, lovely head shoulder, nice ears, quality coat. Fit and clean.

Romeo
Bred by Helen Chugg

romeoposed.jpg

Romeo is a little stunner, short, cobby, wide head and everything well placed. His coat is also very thick, glossy and soft (but not too soft).

He has a really friendly nature and always wants to be the centre of attension! He's one of our favourites!
As an U5 he was so laid back, always sleeping, including on the show table! As an adult he's a proper little horn dog!

Romeo has 7 CC's and 16 stars and 1 Best of Breed (as U5)

Judge Mr D James :
Nice type, head and ear, good colour and coat.

Judge Mr P Batey : Even better colour than winner but not the style. Good head shape, crown and ear drop. Lovely length of back and coming at the shoulder, but needs to use the front limbs more and show it off to best advantage. Quality coat.

Judge Mrs P Honour : Lovely type exhibit for U5. Bold eye, nice shape ear, good coat and seal colouring.

Winnie

Bred by Helen Chugg

winniec.jpg

Winnie is a rew doe. She has a huge head for a doe and a gorgeous coat.

She is similarly bred to Romeo, meaning she's another soppy one! She's a really cuddly girl and enjoys being cradled like a baby.

Winnie is a good multi purpose rabbit, she can be used with sooties, orange/fawn, rew lion lop and many more.

We love our Winnie-woo.
